Sylvan offers a variety of resources and activities to help students develop a love of learning. Each of the resources and booklets below can be used to enhance classroom activities or to send home with students as at-home projects. Report Card Guide This free guide offers key advice for communicating with children to help them achieve academic success.
Math Activity Booklet These booklets contain 30 days of math activities, writing topics, trivia, questions, and puzzles that can be implemented in class or at home.
Writing Journal A fun writing journal that contains different topics that every child will enjoy. This booklet is perfect for in-class assignments or as a break activity.
Family Learning Fun Booklet This booklet contains seven days of activities that will spark imagination, inspire creativity and stimulate discovery while reinforcing reading, writing, and research skills.
Summer Fun and Learning Guide This guide is filled with grade-specific suggestions on planning fun activities that nurture reading, writing, and math skills to keep kids learning all summer long. Use the guide in classroom activities or send home with your students.
K-12 Education Report The K-12 Education Report is a free, comprehensive resource developed to assist parents and educators in preparing children for success from grade school to college.

Bookadventure.com Book Adventure is a free, web based reading program for children in grades K-8 with sections dedicated to teachers and parents. Many teachers and schools participate in Book Adventure with their students to supplement existing in-class reading programs. Children create their own book lists from more than 7,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read offline, and earn points and prizes for their reading accomplishments.
